Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MyVan mobile application (the "App"), provided by CozyHub ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. What MyVan Is

MyVan is a coordination tool that helps parents/guardians see the live location of a school van during an active trip, and helps drivers manage that trip. MyVan is a visibility and communication tool — it is not a safety system, and it does not supervise, employ, vet beyond identity verification, or take responsibility for the conduct of any driver, or for the physical safety of any child during transport. Arrangements for school transport remain between parents/guardians, drivers, and (where applicable) the school or transport operator.

2. Accounts

• You must provide a real, working mobile number and verify it with the SMS code sent to you.
• Drivers must provide accurate identity (NIC) and vehicle information. Submitting false identity or vehicle information is a violation of these Terms and may result in account removal.
• Parents/guardians must have the authority to share information about the child(ren) they register.
• You are responsible for keeping your device and phone number secure, since our sign-in relies on SMS access to that number.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false identity, vehicle, or child information.
• Use the App to track, contact, or monitor anyone without a legitimate relationship to that pickup/route.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data, or interfere with the App's normal operation.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.

4. Location Data

Drivers who start a trip consent to sharing the vehicle's precise location with matched parents for the duration of that trip, as described in our Privacy Policy. Location sharing stops when the trip ends.

5. Driver Verification

We ask drivers to submit a National Identity Card (NIC) and vehicle details before their van appears to parents. This is a basic identity check and does not constitute a criminal background check, driving record review, or any other formal vetting or endorsement by CozyHub.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is." Location accuracy depends on device GPS, network conditions, and the driver keeping the App open with location permissions granted — MyVan cannot guarantee uninterrupted or perfectly accurate tracking. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CozyHub is not liable for delays, missed pickups, inaccurate location data, or any incident arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App.

7. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see our account deletion page). We may suspend or remove an account that violates these Terms, provides false driver/vehicle information, or is used in a way that risks the safety or privacy of another user.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
